The KZN Cornea & Eye Association is a Non Profit, Section 21 Company whose objective it is to alleviate the ever-increasing need for corneal tissue in KwaZulu Natal, under the authority of the South African Department of Health.
Shanleys provides free fun entertainment for the Elderly
We provide live music and entertainment for our special elderly residents. Music has a way of sparking memories, while games create laughter and connection. It’s our way of giving back and bringing joy. Whether it’s a familiar song or a shared moment of fun, we want to fill their days with warmth, love, and a sense of belonging.
Our Team
Our Family owned business is dedicated to providing a compassionate and professional service. At the helm is Owner/Manager Leanne Bell and Lynda Carmody. Together they guide and support families through all funeral arrangements and requirements. Lesley Loxton is our Administration Manager who ensures the smooth running of all operations including Home Affairs registrations and all documentation. Cornwell Mngwengwe is the Property Supervisor and Mortuary Manager. He overseas funeral supplies, coffins, and funeral preparations with dignity and care.
Both Cornwell and Lesley are qualified Registrar's and we have our own in-house Commissioner of Oaths.
Craig McLachlan is our Marketing Manager who oversees all our fun activities that we provide to the retirement homes as well as informative talks, information days and brochure distribution.
Dudley Shanley, Chris Duminy and Derek Shinga are our wonderful Funeral Directors who ensure the smooth running of all our Traditional Church Services and Memorial Services. This includes flowers, hymn sheets, photographs and catering etc, they make sure that everything is perfectly set up in the churches.
